Given Tree tracks information on your donations and friend referrals for the benefit of giventree.org. We do not sell any personal information. Once you register, your public profile will reflect any activity made on your profile page unless otherwise indicated by you from options on your profile page. Your profile page may reflect items which include projects you’ve donated to, friend referrals, donations made by friend referrals, updates from projects you’ve donated to, and other information Given Tree finds useful for the purpose of giventree.org.

By default, you will receive emails from Given Tree and regular updates from projects you have funded to your profile page and your personal email account. Changes to the frequency of emails can be made on your profile page. Third party sites and certified charities will not have access to your personal email unless we obtain permission from you. They will send updates through our site to your account.
